One of these women named Asha is doing food business in Andheri, Mumbai city. This woman is feeding delicious home-cooked food to people through a truck. The name of this food truck is Vaishnavi Kitchen. Here Asha feeds food with her husband and children.
While talking to the team of Local 18, Asha told that the food available here is exactly like home food. He said that all the dishes here are prepared from home. She sells both veg food and non-veg food in her food truck. In veg, you will get dal rice, roti, vegetable along with papad and salad. Apart from this, chicken, fish, mutton, briyani and chicken fry are available in non-veg. The price of a plate of food starts from Rs 80. Sells 40 to 50 plates of food in a day. Asha ji sells breakfast in the morning. Breakfast also includes other things like halwa, poha and upma.
Dream from a small van to a food truck
Asha from Local 18 also told that earlier she used to sell food in a small van. Then while roaming in Dadar, he saw a food truck and dreamed of opening his own food truck. Now after opening her own food truck, she also wants to add Chinese food to her menu. Their daily customers say that the food here makes them miss home. Many working people eat this food daily. Asha herself says that the food here tastes like home and not like a hotel.
